Children of the Light

God does not want us to hide our lights. He wants us to acknowledge that we are all the sons and daughters of the Most High God. He has created us to worship Him. He wants us to put Him first in everything we say and do. When we walk in the light, we are walking after God and Spiritual things. However, when we walk in the dark, we follow the adversary and do things contrary to scriptural teachings.

If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. I John 1:7

When we say we belong to God, He expects that we will look and act like Him. It is just like those of us who have children. We give our children our expectations for their daily walk. We teach them right from wrong, we teach them good morals. We tell them what the consequences will be if they fall short. We hope that our children will not fall short, but if they do we must follow through with the consequences. We want our children to be the best that they can be. Too follow our good guidance and become productive citizens of the society in which they live. God expects the same from us. He has made His light to shine upon us so that men may see the Lord we serve.

You are the light of the world so; let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14, 16

Remember to always let your light shine so that someone lost will find Him!
