Our Lily in the Valley
Solomon 2:1 – I AM the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valleys
A lily is a bell-shaped (white) flower, blameless. The valley is elongated lowland between two mountain ranges, hills, or other upland (depressed, deep, and dark).
 The rose of Sharon is symbolic of a fruitful place. Jesus is the lily in the valley for us as we are going through the trials and tribulations of life. There are many dark valleys in our lives. Maybe you are in one at this moment. Just go back and think of Jesus as being your hope in this dark place. He is the only one that can bring us out of our situations. When we think of Jesus we can think of the following:
- LOVE – Jesus will love you in spite of
- PEACE – Jesus can give you comfort in the mist of your circumstances
- JOY – Jesus will satisfy your soul as you walk through the valley
- FAITH – Trust in Him when you can’t even trust yourself
- VICTORY – Jesus will help you out of your struggle and you will be triumphant
No matter what we go through Jesus is our VICTORY at the end of the valley. This is where the valley comes to an end and the land meets. Jesus is our source of strength. You can call on Jesus in the midnight hour and He’ll be there to bring you through. Jesus is your lily in the valley.
Remember that Jesus can see you through EVERYTHING, just call on HIM!
