Don’t Separate Me From Feeling Loved

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

Daily, there are many people saying that they don’t’ feel loved. That they are all alone and nobody wants them. They don’t have the nicest and most expensive things. They are too short, too fat, and stupid. They constantly remind themselves of their shortcoming. Well if you don’t love or like yourself, then why should anyone else love or like you? The good thing to know is that even if God doesn’t like what you do, He will still love you. Now, we know this is not always the case with man.

God loves all people. You may feel that you are such an insignificant spec compared to the millions of people in the world. I will say that Jesus is truly the only ONE that can meet your needs. One of Jesus’ primary jobs on earth was to demonstrate to the people in a personal way that God loved them. Jesus demonstrated God’s Love in Mark 1:40-42, when he cleansed a leper. He gave the leper individualized attention and God will do the same for you, all the time. He will meet you where you are and see your need and work with you to bring you to the place of feeling loved.

Jesus ministry has focused on teaching or healing one person many times. He didn’t have to have the masses to do God’s work. He is waiting at the door for you to open. We only need to share our problems and concerns with Him. He will wrap His loving arms around us and shield and protect us as a loving parent should. It may be hard to imagine, but when you go to God you get His undivided attention. Freely, He will give to us (Romans 8:32).

Remember to daily stay in His presence so He can shower love on you!
